amuletts's Journal, 29 Dec 23

Had Covid over Christmas so had to stay home alone. Ate slightly more calories but not a lot (like 200 extra), and now my weight is going up. Saddening. I've been eating the bare minimum 1250 calories a day for months, and I am hungry. Like, I can't just have *a bit* more food?

I would certainly need to increase my calories if I increased exercise or I'd be running a huge deficit. Does this help with the hunger? I expect weight would increase initially.

It helps because you will be able to eat more and fill those niggles. It takes a bit of time to adjust to but it works really well!

Well it's going back in the right direction. Just sucks that my 'indulgence' of 1500 calories on Christmas Day caused weight gain, but is still 300 less than my weight maintenance calories are supposed to be!

I also had Covid over Christmas. Think it actually helped me stay on track as I hardly ate anything at all and had no alcohol either. Totally NOT worth it...
