Ate 2,000 calories yesterday because of my pizza cheat meal and also took a rest day from the gym. Back on track today though! Having a cheat meal each week gives me the fuel to get through another successful week eating a well thought out diet high on nutrients and low in calories.

I like to joke that my diet and I are in an open relationship 🤣 I don't have a specific cheat meal, but try to give myself enough wiggle room to make it all more doable for the long run. Sounds like you've found what works for you! 😁👍

Agreed! I find it so important to just listen to my own thoughts around food. If I keep obsessively thinking about naughty treats I can’t have then I’m not making my health food good enough or I’m just getting bored. That’s when it’s time for a new recipe.

i do admire how you still counted your 2000 calories on your diet cheat day. i enjoy my cheat day as a "free day". still on saturdays like yourself. but, it's the only day i don't track anything to really take a break from all the prepping and tracking work all week. keep up your hard work. your self motivation and self leadership is very apparent.
