well, it happened. I fell off the wagon. I ate a whole pint of my favorite ice cream, AND a cup of my favorite yogurt 2%Fage and I put some raspberries in it. Did I mention I am allergic to dairy? So my gall bladder went into shock and my body became inflamed. And I'm not pooping. There I said it. Not a pretty word. But like babies, in order to not die, we have to eat well, sleep well, and poop well. And I fail on all three. I gained back a pound. I say I fell off for one day, but it was 24 hrs and really TWO days. Because I also ate Hawaiian Bread and toast/wJam.
But I didn't drink any caffeine and I didn't go get a Wendy's Bacon Jr Sandwich. Yes, I took one morning off from my walk. I was aching so much, my joints ached. And what I found out was... I've walked enough that my body wanted to walk. So when I walked this morning, I went a little further and doubled my hill area (there's no real hills in this part of the city, mostly little mounds, but I walk them all three times this morning) And I'm back to eating protein breakfast, plant based snacks, whether some sliced apple or beets, and protein dinner, chicken/broccoli.
Tomorrow the fitness center finally opens. I will go check out what machines they have and create a routine for myself. But I will NOT use the treadmill. I hate them. I'll walk my streets rather than count the seconds on a BORING treatmill. SOme people can read on a treadmill. Not me. I'd lose my balance.
OKay. I guess I've kicked my butt for the icecream enough. I might be doing it again next week, Blue Bell is finally back on the shelf. and they sell pints too. At least it wasn't a 1 1/2 gallon ice cream. I can eat that in a day too. A pint was a LOT less. ONe week. I'd be pleased to meet the goal of losing 5lbs. Still seeking that goal of losing one dress size.
