All week I've gone over my calorie count by more than a landslide. I think I have more of an appetite when I don't sleep well.

I definitely eat more when I don't sleep well. Just keep at it and overload on veggies. I steam or roast mine👍

Sleeping is the number one thing that affects hunger. Do doubt. Agree w Diana.

It's true! We produce more of a hormone that makes us hungrier when we don't get enough sleep. I often weigh more too the day after a sleepless night.

I do agree with everyone here too!! the hormone bear mentioned is Ghrelin (hunger) and leptin (satiety) it's a seesaw relationship between the two.
also, calories do need to shift at some points in time too, since eating same calories for a while, the body adjusts. So high calorie for a day, or two, or one week will actually help you in the long run. you will see a difference once you resume your normal calorie range!!

I have purposely eaten above my calorie count for the last 2 days. The past week, I ate well under and actually gained! I need to shock my body back into metabolism. Okay, I'm making up the terms, but you get what I'm saying 😁
