Going on a movie date at the drive in (we can bring food) and my dude is thinking pizza. It would be fun. And I want to so part of me has already decided on enjoying that. I'm concerned about my self control though. I feel like I've been overeating for quite a while and just adding another thing to damage control is giving me anxiety.

But attempting total abstinence from these things is both a contributor to the frequency of of me having binge episodes, and the amount I go overboard when I do.

Instead of avoiding it, I am going to get the pizza. I'm going to practice my self control and prove I don't have to enter a binge state every time I eat something fun. I am going to try not to feel any guilt or anxiety or shame, as that takes away from being able to enjoy it. Not being able to enjoy it will make me feel like I didn't get my treat, and what will I want then? More treats. No, I will have fun and be balanced.

I am going to:
+ eat a healthy nutritious lunch
+ pack some fruit as my movie candy
+ pack some veg for my movie snack
+ still have some popcorn
+ have 1-2 slices
+ cut them in half or into thirds
+ put the rest in a little container
+ eat those slices cut into thirds in the following days as little treats

good plan 👍I like to eat a bunch of meat before I go out to dinner or an event so I'm not as hungry plus I hit my protein goals regardless of what's being served. have fun 👍
