Had a late night movie and dinner with my wife last night. We had had the 4th of July 5 day weekend with all of our family, and then 2 of our younger granddaughters stayed with us for an additional 6 days. We were tired. So, I told my wife to rest all day Tuesday while I played golf. For the most part, that's what she did. Also, I said that after I got back from playing golf, we should go out to dinner and watch a movie. Her response was that "she would never turn down that invitation". We went to the 6 PM showing of the current Indiana Jones movie which including all of the necessary advertisements to upcoming shows lasted until 8:50 PM. Afterwards, we had dinner at Carrabbas, and it was served about 9:20. With the dinner being so late, I had their signature shrimp & scallops dinner with broccoli & a salad, and of course their obligatory bread. The bread & olive oil may have been a little too much, but my lunch had been a Pure Protein shake and some fruit. If you have not seen this, and supposedly last, Indiana Jones movie, it is very good. Fast action, with his whip blazing a few times. A well spent evening with the love of my life. Hope everyone had a wonderful Tuesday.
