Mini victory! Yesterday after lunch I wanted a dessert sooooo much. I wanted an oreo cheesecake. I reeeeaaaally wanted it! I was looking at the menu and was seriously thinking about calling for delivery. But... I controlled myself, took a pause, and decided to focus on work. That helped me.
So.. I did NOT have that cheesecake. Which I'm sure has a ton of sugar and fat and calories. I did well.
Yesterday was a P-E-R-F-E-C-T day. YAY!!! It's been so long since I had one of those!
It is a simple little thing, but for me it is a victory.
Wish you all success and smiles!

One thing that always seems to be missing from this whole healthy journey is credit for all of the things we could have eaten but didn't! Congratulations of passing on the Oreo Cheesecake! I know that took a lot of willpower to let it go and move your focus on to something else. Good for you! :)

Good going! It does get easier over time, but every temptation resisted is a victory!

thank you all! I am reading your comment right on time. A co-worker sells brownies here at the office. And, trust me, they are AWESOME. I was reading your comments just the exact moment when she offered the brownies... and the idea of buying one crossed my mind for a second, but THANKS TO YOU I've decided not to.
If I could pass on the craving for an oreo cheesecake, I can pass on the slight temptation of a brownie.

take every victory you can! Life is too short to ignore them even if we think they are small. Promotes good feelings in you and keeps you motivated.

kywoman: oooh... those moments! when you even have the temptation in your hands, and you just fight within yourself "should I take it home?... No, I shouldn't... But it's just a ___ ! Just once!.. No. I must stay strong" Right?

You did amazingly well! Taking a pause to reflect is a great way to refocus. Way to go! I hope I can be as strong as you when I'm faced with temptation!
