It's very odd, but I read on Pinterest about this author that was promoting this diet: HFLC, and one of the things she said is that you're cheerful on this diet.

I must admit, I've been in an extraordinarily good mood since starting it.

Is the vacation? Or the cravings that aren't there?

My guess is the cravings disappear, after a couple or few days. The trick, for me,is to control the binge(s)which kick in after a couple or few weeks. There seems to be no weight gain for a day or two, but then it escalates. What I will watch, this time, is if a binge hits I will kick my butt back into the induction phase the day following. As for cheerful, Yep! It's nice to hop on that scale and see immediate progress. Following a rapid weight loss, one might experience a plateau with no change for days; it's a challenging time, but rarely lasts longer than 7-10 days and then weight loss resumes. I weigh in daily, but that's a matter of personal choice. Good luck on today's weigh in.

It's true; I think it's depends on the person but carbs and mood sensitivities can go hand in hand! Different carbs can act differently on your mood though.....

Life is much easier when we don't have to battle with cravings. Nice drop, congrats.
