Like I said, the second half of my vacation is going to be a bit more active than the first half. Started that off today with a visit to Yosemite. It was actually my first visit to the actual park (after all those years living very nearby in California). It was just unbelievably beautiful. The active part? Well aside from the 5-6 hour drive roundtrip, we walked and/or hiked for about eight hours. I don't know what the difference is between walking and hiking, so I split it down the middle. Worked out to a total of 4500 calories consumed -- that seems just about right, because my legs are already sore and I'm having a heck of a time keeping my eyes open to type this journal entry. G'night all.
