After my weigh-in yesterday and after following a stricter caloric intake than suggested (1500 instead of 1600/day) and entering every morsel placed in my pie hole and still not losing diddly squat - I have come to the conclusion I am wasting my time right now. I have decided to begin my old stand-by - the Sacred Heart diet - beginning on Monday, June 5th, and will stick with it until I have shed the 15 lbs. I need to lose. I used this diet back in 2017 and within 5 months I lost 65 lbs. I know the inactivity during the pandemic and also using food as my comfort source contributed to my 15 weight gain. Now I need the help of this diet to knock this extra weight gain off. I know I will be able to keep it off once I reach my goal. I did it before and I will do it again. Back to walking my 1.25 mi. each night and doing my 10 minute exercise routine twice daily. Wish me luck. I will check back in when I have reached my goal weight of 148 lbs. I hear your frustration. I started my food logging on May 18 after my doctor told me I gained 25 lbs just this year alone. 😩 It's definitely lots of work with slow progress. Based on what I answered in the questionsin this app, it was telling me to eat 900 cal which I knew was impossible for me to adhere to. I'm doing 1100 with minimal indulgence on bad snacks. I walk for an hour at least 5x a week with lots of water during the day. So far I lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I've got 30 more to go. Good luck on your next step and hope you get the results you're aiming for. 😃
