Yeah they definitely suck. I'll cut my calories back a little and I'll also increase my workouts a little.

I need some suggestions

I also would look into fasting. Once I started fasting, it helped me lose even more weight. That's like another secret weapon to losing weight.

Change up your workout routine.if you keep doing the same exact routine over and over your body will work more efficiently and fewer calories will be expended. Also recalculate your calories in/out at your current weight to make sure all is as it should be.

It’s tough especially for us females .. I’ve tried intermittent fasting- it worked great for years, about 2 years.. but then, I started feeling so so bad on it. I gave it up and had almost binge sessions.. like uncontrollable cravings.. I have since moved on to basically lots of vegetables and protein, a bit of fruit .. and very little grains/deserts .. that has moved the needle but slower than fasting ..

Eating at Maintenance calories for a week or so and switching up your fitness routine

sometimes I just stick it out. other times, I'll Increase my protein and fat calories for a few days- then reduce back down. I do an 18-6 IF, so I'll mess around with that too. like eat breakfast and lunch instead of lunch and dinner. our bodies adapt to whatever we're doin, so adjusting food & exercise is definitely part of the journey 🌟 keep us updated 😀

Sometimes if you have been in in a calorie deficit for weeks one chest meal will help fool the body.

Don't give up, power through. You are not by yourself. Almost everyone here has experienced a plateau. I don't think there is any one thing or method that is the answer. Mix it up, try different things, and pay close attention to the results. I doubt that anyone will see small trends by only weighing once a week...

hey, if I’m reading right, your journal makes it look you’ve lost a few pounds in the last 5 days… what time frame is the plateau in?

I intermittent fast almost every day about 12 hours. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner— no evening snacking. Don’t eat until breakfast.

when I don’t lose weight in 4 weeks and my measurements have not lost any inches, I consider that a stall or plateau. I shake it up and kick it up a knotch. lol. I am on my 4th plateau now. I lost 61 lbs and my body put on the breaks again. I am gonna stop eating frozen foods and eat all fresh cooked foods and eat only between 10 am to 6 pm. I will see if this lets my body know it’s okay to keep burning off my fat. lol

Plateau? Oh yes, they come they go. They are the learning curve. Respect them as you wish. Part of the lifestyle change.

I have gained and lost weight my whole life When I would hit a plateau I would take the weekend and eat what ever I wanted (within some limitations lol) not track my food and on Monday start tracking and eating correctly and It would always restart my weight loss again. Hope it helps Good Luck
