Great week so far. Eating has been on target, workouts going well except for oversleeping this morning.
Tonight is our County 4-H Banquet. Will be a fun evening to see all the kids receive their awards and recognition for their hard work throughout the year. The 4-H Council Members (the kids) are planning the entire event and MCing.
Tomorrow I have taken a day off and we are planning a day trip to Glenrose, TX to Dinosaur World and the State park there to see some of the best preserved actual dinosaur tracks, and possibly the wildlife preserve center (depending on time). Our oldest loves dinosaurs. There is a museum and dinosaur trail featuring 100 life-size dinosaurs in a 22 acre park setting. They have a fossil dig for the children. I wish the Promise Play was during the summer because would love to take the kids to that as well, but it is only open during the fall. I went with our Church Youth Group when I was young. It was an awesome performance.
Had hopes of going to Sea World, but has been sooooo hot and didn't want to walk the place with our 2 year old. Maybe this Fall when cools off a bit. School starts August 24th. Time to start getting back in our school routine next week. No more late nights, bathes in the evening rather than morning, etc. Our oldest wants to stay up late and shower in the morning which has been fine since he had not specific time to be somewhere. That will have to change.
I will be away from FS tomorrow but by next week will be able to stay in touch better. I am getting my Blackberry finally. My husband got one Christmas but my plan wasn't up til next week. I am so excited. For those Verizon Wireless customers out there with Smartphones, any suggestions. I am looking at the new Blackberry Tour. My husband has the Curve and has been a great phone, but the Tour offers a few more features and a better camera. I had also looked at the Storm and Samsung Omnia but decided against the touch screen. I think after a while, it would frustrate me. Any suggestions regarding any of the Verizon Smartphones would be welcome.

Wow, you have an action packed weekend planned. As far as the phones, I would go with the new Tour myself. I'm waiting for it to be time to upgrade so that I can get my BlackBerry upgraded as well (I have a Pearl now). I would also stay away from touchscreens. Good call.

Thanks and Ranchwoman, my new Blackberry is going to be my 1/2 way mark reward!!!! I have been trying to think of something and figure the phone upgrade will be good, plus give me to weightloss programs right at my fingertip no matter where I am.
Lala, my husband has the Curve and likes it too. Just another option to the Tour. Are you Verizon? I looked at the Pearl, but decided for the full keyboard. Right now for my upgrade the Curve is free, not sure on the Tour, my office rep is looking that up. Then I will make my mind. Really like the camera quality and screen on the new Tour. They told me it is basically a combination of the Curve and World features that most like but all in one. Being a State employee has its perks, we get good rates on phones and 20% discount on accessories and some plan rates.
