mars2kids's Journal, 14 May 15

Well I've made it halfway through week 1 of my new diet and I'm not gonna lie, it's been a hard week so far. On Monday someone brought in a huge, iced chocolate chip cookie and a platter of assorted cookies to the office, Tuesday was bagels, and Wednesday was chocolate cupcakes and Reese's. I either picked a good week to start this diet or a bad week. I keep eyeballing the candy dish, but I can't give in. I guess I just have to be strong and think that at least I won't have a gain from all of the goodies next week.

The plus of the new diet is that I am feeling pretty good and I may have at least a slight loss on Monday. I haven't been able to just mindlessly eat, so I'm hoping that will help me change some of my eating habits for good. After 6 weeks I'm not just going to dive in and eat everything again, I'm just adding one thing at a time, so I'm really hoping I do learn to think about what I'm eating, learn to prepare things ahead, and maybe get rid of some sugar in my diet.

I don't have much to talk about right now, just focusing on my eating, and running kids around to activities.

Have a great pre-Friday!!

Just keep telling yourself you are nurturing your body with good food and eliminating the bad. I have to look and see what you're new diet is. If you can treat yourself to some berries or something.
