Day 2. not bad. I stayed under the 2000 cal. But i have a question--- If i work and say burn 200 cal, does that mean I can go over that 2000 for the day? I know stupid question. First time dieter here, and i want to lose, need to lose, 65 lbs so i can feel like myself again. I gained all this weight over three yrs time. Thank you for any help you can give me.....homemade chicken noodle soup, with no salt. hmmmm maybe i can do this!

You need to keep about 500 to 600 kcal deficit daily. See what you burn during that day and eat 500/600 kcal less.

"Rewarding" yourself for exercising can be a slippery slope. Stick to your plan and let exercise be its own reward.

A STATEMENT I READ RECENTLY WAS "DO NOT REWARD YOUR SELF WITH FOOD! YOUR NOT A DOG! " CONSIDER A SPECIAL OUTING WITH A FRIEND. OR GO TO THE GARDEN CENTER AND BUY A PLANT. HAVE A MONTHLY AND WEEKLY GOAL. MONTHLY CAN BE REAL SPECIAL. LIKE A MESSAGE OR A PEDICURE. GET EVEN MORE CREATIVE AND MAKE A SIX MONTH GOAL.

Usually Fat Secret sets you up with too many calories per day. If you want to lose you may want to stay under 1600 per day - then with moderate exercise you will be in a deficit each day which can result in a loss.

Thank you all. I have stayed under 1500 for 2 out of 2 days!!! I am taking the 10lbs in a month challenge. If I make it, I might treat myself to a new outfit!!! :)

Never give yourself more food when you burn more! Never a good idea. And FS gives you about 300 calories too much and is over generous with the calories burned part. I go by my pedometer and match the calories, not the time.
