so far so good. Its a little different looking at everything I eat and counting it. Right now i am so hungry and would be reaching for something to tide me over until dinner. But seeing my rdi percentage i am motivated to wait until dinner. Im feeling optimistic that i can actually do this.

It's hard to stick to the program when the hunger hits, but you are doing the right thing by waiting--you won't regret it! My dr has a sign in his office that said "Willpower is like a muscle--the more you use it, the stronger it gets." Hang tough and you will succeed!

Drink lots of water and green tea - it fills you up and helps with the weight loss.

thank you:) I have been drinking water with mio. again thank you for the advice. I have never ever been on a diet before----so I could use all the help I can get.

HCB read my mind--drink water. I have found that tracking food makes me accountable and helps me plan my food. In the future, you might want to come up with some low calorie snacks that you can have when you need something to get you through a rough time--some veggies, nuts, or yogurt, perhaps. That way, you can get through the hunger pangs without getting far off track. I find my meals have become much smaller and I count on snacks throughout the day. It is all about finding what works for you. You are doing great.
