Hello fatsecret! I'm excited to be here. I've been changing my lifestyle since late last year. I was close to 280 lbs right after Thanksgiving. I had trouble breathing and I couldn't sleep at night. I've been watching what I eat, and I'm now at 264 lbs. My diet hasn't been perfect though. I've been going back to eating poorly and skipping out on my daily walks. I can not gain that almost 20 lbs back. I really thought I was going to die some days because I felt so awful. I am motivated and figured this site would help keep me on track. :D

I have trouble, im sure like everyone else staying motivated but the site helps with positive thinking. Knowing so many other people are out there fighting the same battle is comforting and encouraging. Best of luck Seaside!

FANTASTIC that you have lost that much so far, always celebrate the loss of each pound.
Continue with the positive attitude and know that even when you slip up, and we all do when trying to lose weight, that condemning yourself isn't going to help. Just acknowledge the slip and take steps to move forward.

Welcome, this site can really help you. Log your food every single day, good eating days and bad. You will learn so much about small changes you can make. We all have bad eating days, logging it all will help you learn how to make better choices. Walking is great too, it helps reduce my appetite. You can do it.
