So... this site is weird and won't let me choose May 30th as my start date for some reason. But yes, I began Atkins on May 30th 2011 :)
At first, I'll admit it - it was tough. But now, it feels like part of my life. I want to stay on this diet for the rest of my life! It truly is a lifestyle.
I am now in the OWL phase. In induction, I lost about 12 lbs. and have lost an additional 5 lbs in the 3 weeks I've been in OWL. My total weight loss so far has been 16 lbs, hurray! I am very proud of myself as it has been over two years since I have weighed in at the 140's.
This week, I have started cardio exercising and doing exercises for my muscle groups in order to build more lean muscle and tone up my legs, arms, abs, and butt!
Let me say that Atkins is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm so glad that my father is doing this with me too!
