Fun day planned today. I am off work today. Took my 2 year old to daycare and planning to take my 7 year old to his first movie theatre movie. I know, sad, right. Actually I have not been to a theatre movie since my oldest was 10 months old, even sadder. We just wait til they come out on DVD. We bought a big screen years ago, so we prefer watching in our home. Husband is out of town so thought this would be something fun to do, he's spent all summer helping daddy.
We are planning to see Ice Age. Nathan is very into Dinosaurs these days. He also wanted to see Transformers II, but my husband wants him to wait to see that with him :)
Finished the day eating well, but didn't get in treadmill time. We didn't get home til almost 9, still had to bathe boys and get them to bed. Husband left at 3 am for Fort Worth.
This afternoon will be Jillian when I get home after the movie and tonight treadmill and elliptical.
Getting my workouts in again have been great, my energy level is up. I hope the scales show progress Friday. I would like to be out of the 160s by then.
Will have to avoid the movie popcorn which will be hard. I love Popcorn.

i thought my daughter was old when i first took her to the theaters, she was 4 or so. lol everyone else takes babies to the movies!! eeek. ha. he's going to love it, my daughter saw the 3d ice age, thats a little more worth it ;)

Wow - You have great machines - treadmill and an elliptical - I'm jellous!! I have the treadmill, but I'm love the elliptical..... though I think I'm to short for it..... Anyway, have a great time at the movies. I love taking my girls, though they are a bit young. Last time we went, my youngest fell asleep in the chair, and she weights so little, that it darn thing folded up on her!!!

Mom2Girls, I am only 5'3" so I don't believe you'd be too short. Also, I actually won the equipment through a local Radio contest about 3 1/2 years ago. It was a "New You in the New Year" I won the treadmill, elliptical and weight bench. I sold the weight bench, no room. Then I sold my old Walmart Treadmill. It was about $3000 worth of equipment. I answered a triva question that week and went into a drawing 1/5 chance. I was completely shocked. I hardly ever win stuff, especially something like that. That was the beginning of the year I did well with losing my weight right before getting pregnant.
Enjoyed the movie. We ate a Chili's before, so we didn't get popcorn. I just had a side salad at Chili's. I hate a late breakfast.

So glad you both had a good time at the movies. Great job avoiding the popcorn. And that's wonderful that you won the exercise equipment! What a blessing!

Yea, after winning the equipment, I decided that was a sign I needed to start getting the weight off. Did really well, got about 1/2 way there and decided to get pregnant instead of finishing the loss. But at least started pregnancy at a healthier weight even though not where I wanted to completely be. This time, no more babies in the future, so I am in it for the long haul.
