It's funny. I went to bed last night very gung ho about the whole diet thing. Then I woke up today with no interest in it whatsoever. I didn't feel satisfied after breakfast or even after a snack. I couldn't get myself interested in going to the gym. When I got home from work, I just wanted to eat--a lot. While I did snack a bit more than I usually do, I ended up at my calorie goal for the day, so hooray for that. Weigh in tomorrow, so I'm hoping that will boost my motivation.

So did you take Ali's recomadation and start slowly raising your intake?

I've decided to go two more days at 1200 calories to make it an even month and then increase my calorie intake slowly as she suggested. Some members here have reported faster weight loss at a higher calorie level because their body ran at a higher metabolism rate.
