So a second day of weight gain. That is unusual, but I'm wondering if it has more to do with increased sodium intake than the diet change; the food yesterday ended up being high in salt and I'm pretty sure I swallowed a significant amount of sea water despite my best efforts.

So I'll keep this up for another week or so and we'll see where it ends up.

I have been pondering my salt intake as well. I really don't add salt to food , but whatever is naturally occurring in food might just be the kick thats getting us. guess we can increase our water intake. i try to drink about a 1/2 gallon daily, easy to do when I do cardio hard when I sit on my behind ;o

Salt can definitely raise your weight in the short term. If you haven't changed anything else I would just wait it out. No need in getting worried about something temporary.
