Okay so yesterday I deff counting as my spike day!! thats the most I have eaten in 17 days! It was good, but I still felt really guilty. Mostly because it wasnt a planned spike day. I was going to bake my usual chicken dinner, I must need to find some new recipies beacuse hubby just wasnt havin it! He was like save your calories bc im ordering lamb gyros. I was like okay. Thinking I would have just 1 and a side salad I would be fine, but the he ordered a 3rd one for us to share and fritas!! Yummy fried dough with powdered sugar dripping in honey sauce! I went crazy, had 5 servings of cookie dough, then I didnt even work out YIKES. I just didnt feel like it yesterday :/ I had a great workout Wensday night, but thursday was just a overall bad day.

I havent worked out yet today and I caved and drove jr to school vs walked. I just pray yesterdays binge doesnt stall my weight loss. I going to keep going Im going to keep going. Making today a low day, 1200 cal and doing 60 min of insanity tonight :) Not going to weigh in untill sunday. ahhh.

It's so hard not to feel guilty after your spike days in the beginning. Russell also says in his book you're not supposed to workout on a Spike day but if you do you can eat more calories. He also says the days after a spike day are always the best workouts, and I tend to agree. As you continue spiking and actually realize you will loose weight, it gets easier and more pleasurable to spike. Trust me girl, today may seem awful, but as time goes on, the guilt melts away. The hardest part will be not spiking again today (at least for me) because once I have a taste of sweets, it's so hard to get back off them!

Sunday may be a little premature for a weigh-in. When I do a spike day on a Saturday for instance, it goes up a good 4 lbs or so the following day, then I usually don't see a lower weight until at least Wednesday. It takes a few days for the excess water retention from the spike to flush, so drinking lots of water will help that along if you don't already do that.

Thank you guys so much for advice/support :) I was feeling awful, I think I will feel good after I get in a good sweat after work! @Allie, im the same way Ihad that indulgence yesterday and I my sons school anacks rice krispe treat and oreo dunks staring at me but I wont give in. @Kstubblefeild, I will take your advice, drinking tons of water and I probally wont weigh in till mid week next week. If i see a bad number on the scale, i loose modivation, so thank you for the advice. The hardest part of staying with this is my hubby is always wanting to eat out. Today was supposed to be my low day, hubby is already planning a trip to red robin or gyros again. I know I wont go crazy, but looking at red robins menu- woah even the side salads are 313 cal! say what!? I am just preparing and looking up before we go. Just hate still feeling hungry after eating a small amount for a ton of cals. It will all work out. Thanks again!
