Starting to feel discouraged. I have lost 6 pounds since I started on the 12th, but I have cut my calories so much and been more active and I feel like that's nothing.

Had a look at your diet calendar - your carb intake is quite high, I would try to up your protein and lower the carbs and see what that does. Bear in mind that 2 pounds a week is a Good weight loss. Good luck :-)

One of the biggest problems in weight loss is that people have too high expectations and when they don't get the results they think they should get discouraged and give up. You have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks. That is an amazing start. If you keep going you will be at goal in no time. Weight loss isn't an exact science and you cannot predict how much you will lose each week. Eating more protein and high fiber foods may help. Calories are important, but what we eat can be just as important. Stay the course and you will get there.
