Yesterday felt like the longest day. I was and still am super sore but I welcome it. It is a very rare thing that I get sore but I guess three days of weights will do that to you. I was also really tired, again a good tired not the normal everyday lethargy I usually feel. I swear I think I was born tired. I'm sure I went at it a little too hard on Wednesday but I had fun.

Last night I think the universe was conspiring against me getting any sleep. I didn't drift off until after 4am and it felt like just as I had my fiance was freaking out because the cat had somehow gotten out of her room and pounced on him. So I got up, took her back to her room, grabbed some wood to feed the fire and somehow locked myself out of the house..... Thank goodness it wasn't a below freezing morning and was 6:30 am. My fiance was still more or less awake so he heard me banging on the door. I again manage to drift off only to have my very excited nephew wake me up at 7:15 to inform me that today is the homecoming parade and his whole class gets to go and watch it. I, being the wonderful aunt that I am, manage to tell him to have fun, grab a lot of candy and make sure he stays with his class before falling asleep again. Thirty minutes later my fiance gets up to go to work.... leaves for work and wakes me up again thirty minutes after that because he had to come home for his phone. I decided at that point I was awake and not going to try for more sleep. I pulled the laptop onto the bed to start going through email and whatnot only to find myself waking up at 11am... ^.^ That is latest I've slept-in in a good while. Fitbit is showing I only managed 3h29m of sleep – better than nothing.

This evening we go grocery shopping. Joy. I hate wal***t. Shopping list includes lots of veggies, fruit, meat, fish and dairy. I've been looking into the LCHF meals and might try some recipes this week. I also want to try making bone broth. I've never enjoyed the though of a diet. Not this time around nor the last time. I've always considered working out and eating better a lifestyle change. I've never denied myself a craving, if I wanted chocolate I would have a few bites. I figure as long as I stay within my RDI I will work it off. The only thing I try not to eat is bread. Right now my RDI is a little higher than what my doctor wants but I'm going to get there. If I can meet my RDI or stay under it for a week I will drop it down again. This time around is a little harder because it isn't just me and my fiance living here but my sister and her kids as well. It is harder to control my menu, workout time and other things which can get stressful but I love them so I work around a lot.

I can hardly wait until spring I have lot of plans for the garden. This year I'm adding a small strawberry patch. More on that later...

No, I just started a fitness class. Since I do more cardio throughout the week outside of class we decided that my sole focus for this class would be dedicated to weight lifting. Right now I think every muscle group in my body is sore. I feel good though. Good luck to you with the CrossFit and keep up the good work!
