I am in my third week and went shopping today. It still took a lot of will power not to pull a candy bar off the check out shelf. You know I always thought "I deserve this chocolate". Well now that I am finally losing some weight - I do not have to eat candy to feel better about myself.

you just brought tears to my eyes- thank you! you just made me realize that although it will continue to be hard, it will get better, and you are so right-- we should feel better and be proud of ourselves when we are strong enough to say no, and to not 'need' chocoloate to make ourselves feel good. i cant believe i put so much power in such a little thing. ... thanks!!! :D
