peggytoz's Journal, 25 May 22

Almost 20,000 steps today and 17,0090 of them were on my walk. I kept up the pace and burned 803 calories. Couldn't be happier. I did get sunburned so tomorrow I'll exercise at home but it felt good to get a full walk in. I've lost enough weight now that I don't have to unbutton my jeans to put them on or take them off. Every little positive change is huge for me. I want to build some muscle soon but one step at a time right??

Thanks everybody. Before the pandemic that was generally how much I was walking 3-4 days a week. I don't use public transportation and I don't drive so I walk everywhere I need to go unless its really far and then I go with my husband by car. For the last 2 years I stayed close to home and gained 10 + kilograms. I ate my way through the pandemic. 🤪
