I am so done with weighing myself until I get this water retention figured out. 5 pounds from yesterday morning is craziness. I can't wear my Algeria Mary Janes or sandals because the straps won't stay hooked. It's so depressing. Before the slap back starts---I AM watching my sodium intake.

The wind is howling something fierce. Came around a bend in the canyon after picking up our granddaughter just in time to see the wind catch a semi. Blew it right into the guardrail. Awfully scary. Granddaughter started screaming and I braced myself against the dash. Thankfully the driver was not injured. Glad we took my car and not the truck. Glad to be home.

I'm also very glad hubs hasn't lost his pilot reflexes. He, definitely, never lost his need for speed. My father drove like a bat out of hell so it speed doesn't bother me.
