Self improvement is an exponential growth curve- as I put in more effort I see more results, as I see more results my confidence grows, so with greater confidence I can put in more effort. Today I’ve smashed out my first numerical goal, but I’ve been seeing other results for a month or so now. My skin is clearer, my sleep patterns are so much more stable, and my anxiety is far more manageable. I don’t get out of breath so easily. It’s nice to have a number on the scale as an indicator of what to aim for, but that’s just a part of it. Taking a moment to consider the whole picture, I’m just feeling really… relieved. I was kind of worried I would never be able to rebuild myself after all the years of sickness and painkillers. But today I finally have a solid hold on my situation and a tonne of positive results from my efforts. 👏👏👏 onward! 😆
