NowIunderstand's Journal, 19 Dec 14

I've lost an good amount of weight since May 2014, 28 lbs approx.

But lately I've been feeling weak, no strength. And I've come to the conclusion that it's mostlikely because I've lost muscle and not fat.

Haven't been exercising.

I've just read on the www, that it's better to burn off fat than starve it.

Well, I now know what they mean and couldn't agree more.

So since I do want to feel strong and not weak, (independence) I've decided to start muscle training. But I so don't like that type of exercise that I've decided to take baby steps. I've bought Jane Fonda's newest fit dvd collection. And I figured, heck, can't be that hard, she was 76 when she made them. Well, my gosh, shame on me!, I have a hard time keeping up with her on the muscle training one. I think it was really time I did something about the shape I'm in! That just proves it!

Nevertheless, my resolve is strong, and I know I'm going to stick with it and my condition will improve. It will nice to be slim (eventually) but I need to be able to carry some groceries, or pick things up without agonizing!

She's very motivating during the exercises!

Will be very surprised to record a loss tomorrow. (and it won't be because of all the muscle I've gained - lol) But, what can you do,life is life.

Calisthenics are a great way for a female to get muscles, I did. Now I have muscles all over, from equipment I only use my 6.6 lbs dumbbells. Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow.

You'll do great. I am trying to get the motivation to start strength training as well. I believe that it will with many aspects of your health. Good luck and keep at it.
