Happy Easter Sunday. Celebrated Easter dinner yesterday afternoon. No drama to speak of. I know some people don't understand or appreciate our family dynamics, but you can't always get 35 family members with strong personalities and opinions together without a few differences of opinion. We get over it pretty quickly.
My nephew handed out his university graduation announcements. All of us are intelligent and fortunate to be well educated, but this kid is very bright. Took enough AP classes in high school that he started college as a junior. And now he's graduating with high honors with a BS in molecular biology and neuroscience and a BA in Hispanic studies. Has been granted acceptance to 6 med schools and will be making his decision shortly. He also has an opportunity to teach in Madrid. Tough to have so many opportunities. But don't kid yourself---he worked for and earned every opportunity.
Here it is mid April and now we get snow and cold. We've been pretty fortunate and haven't lost that many calves. Those with late calving seasons, have been having a tough time.
Busy upcoming week. Have to call the accountant and see what's going on and schedule bringing in another gas line. Have 2 lunch dates this week and a followup on my wrist. Am ready to be done with this cast. Glad I didn't swap out my tires.
