Jergens, mom is well…blood tests revealed no issues even without having a Natto infused diet. I hope my job takes me by the Asian Grocer today because I need to pick up more. As for the blue line…people here don’t seem to want to hear the obvious. There are more and more studies out that show how different types of sugars, whether it be glucose (relatively good), alcohol (bad), fructose (really bad) or what not…they are metabolized differently and a calorie is not a calorie. Replacing fats with sugars is a terrible plan. Eating fats ands sugars together in the absence of fiber is the worst. Anyhow, how are you?

It gets so confusing though…the fructose in fruit isn’t necessarily bad because it comes with fiber. But you can screw that up by making a smoothie. Saturated fat is bad…you should stay under 10% of total calories from saturated fats. But poly and monounsaturated fats are good. I think people just don’t know the difference. If you chose canola over olive oil you made a mistake. If you grind up your fruits and eliminate the chance for your body to process the fiber you made a mistake. Yeah that’s right…I’m saying smoothies are not a good idea. I found a perfect diet for me…and it seems like it could be universally accepted, there’s no secret really.

Your food looks amazing! I've had friends who thought smoothies were the bomb...for me...I'd always rather eat my produce.
