Well my BF put in for a job in a different state. I've expressed how much I dont want to move but it seems it is all he can talk about. I have been so stressed out lately. We have a 2yr old son together and that just adds to the stress. I don't want to pull him away from all of the people he knows and move to some isolated small town in the middle of no where. I have a really hard time meeting new people and I am afraid that my depression that I fight from time to time would spiral out of control. Battling with wether I should just suck it up and move to where he gets a job or stay behind and be a single mother. Just wish he was more understanding of how badly I dont wish to relocate and start over. I've been doing well at my weight loss, I'm close to the majority of my friends and family, and I've got 5yrs in at my current job. What to do, what to do. I'm hoping he doesn't get the job and we can all just stay here as a family but my luck sucks :(

That does suck. The only bright side is that if he gets the job, he'll be a happier guy... that can only bring good things! I hate change too! When I finished University, I moved to where my husband (then boyfriend lived). It was hard not having family or my friends around, but I have met a lot of amazing people when I volunteer at different places within the community.

I know exactly how you feel. I have never made friends easily my whole life. I moved from San Diego to Indiana to be near my mom after she got sick. I too struggle with depression so i didnt know if i could handle it. But you will meet new people, just go into with a positive attitude.
