So it's day 2 of the Atkins induction phase and I have had no ill effects or crazy cravings since being on the diet. But, around 2pm this afternoon I started to feel very weak... not tired or sleepy like, but physically, like my muscles were about to give out. I assume that my body is starting to enter into the withdraw period and is adjusting to the lack of carbs/sugars. Eh, that’s ok with me so long as I am losing (or end up losing) weight. My cheeks and stomach already feel less “puffy”, I’m not sure if it’s just psychological or there is really a slight deflation that has taken place. I am looking forward to tomorrow and the next day though, which is something I have never said, nor felt on any other diet. Cheers.
