Today is my first day of the induction phase of the Atkins diet. I am optimistic about sticking to this diet and it working for me, seeing as how I'm a carb-aholic! Unfortunately, I do not think that I hardly packed enough food to last the entire work day before I am able to make it home. I brought 4 boiled eggs, 3 small boneless/skinless chicken thighs (baked), 5 strips of bacon, 1 sugar free jello cup and 1 ounce of cheddar cheese. I apparently forgot to buy a bag of baby spinach for my salad(s), so I will venture out to find a healthy salad somewhere at lunch so I can get my veggies in.

good luck! Been on the induction phase for 8 weeks now! It's amazing to see my body changing. It's really not a hard, if you set your mind to it. When you learn the science behind it, it really makes a lot sense. Looks like you have a good plan as far as your meals are concerned. That's a major part of the battle :-) Have a good day!

Quite a bit! The only ugly part is that my tummy has lost so much fat it's starting to look shrivally :-( Guess that's why people have plastic surgery after losing a bunch of weight - not me I'll wear the saggy belly as a badge lol. My face is a lot thinner too. I have always been self conscious about my arms and they're still not skinny, but they are looking better :-) Before I messed my knee up, I was in the gym 3 days a week trying to muscle them up and fatten them down. That will have to wait for now though until the knee heals.
