Sometimes it's really rough that no one seems to even notice that I've lost 39 lbs since I stared this journey in Sept before I found FS. My family and friends encouragement would be such a help.

You all are amazing. Thank you. I hit 40 lbs loss(248.6) this morning. Almost half way to my 100 lb goal so im ecstatic. I haven't been under 250 since I was 30... I haven't been under 200 since I was 16.. And I'm 56.

I think that, unless you invite people to speak about your weight loss, most folks won't say anything because they don't want to risk rubbing salt into wounds. You never know if someone's been sick, had their heart broken, or any number of things that could cause a person to lose weight. I think it's freaking awesome that you're doing so well! High fives!

Keep going!! There will come a point where they will notice suddenly. I know its odd, but people don't notice the difference when they see you pretty often. One day they will just be looking at you and notice. Don't let anything derail your success, girl! The end result is going to be worth the struggle!

Reward yourself with a new piece of clothing or an outfit and wear it for your next visit! It will make you feel and look more fabulous regardless of whether others notice!

toot your own horn! everyone will cheer for you if you ask them to. here are some lines you could use: I've lost 40 pounds since September and it sure is easier to get in and out of the car. .... I've been working on reducing my weight since September and today I was able to pull out some clothes I haven't been comfortable in for quite a while. ... these stairs are sure easier when I'm not carrying that 40 pounds I've lost since September. ...

when you are around the same people all the time, and the weight is coming off steady and gradual, it's not as noticeable, if you're looking for the shock factor, do side by side pics and show them off, or find someone you haven't seen in 6 months and have lunch 🙂 
I’ve lost 45lbs since May and no one has said anything. That said, it would embarrass me if they did. I’ve really cultivated a don’t-talk-about-my-body vibe, which works for me.
