Today's the day! Less than 3 hours away from my counseling appointment...I'm a bit worried. I hope it goes well.

I woke up around 7-7:30 ish and I could NOT fall back asleep(I officially passed out around 2) I decided to go to the gym for a quick fix. 10 min on a cycling machine(my butt was too sore from yesterday's class for any more) and 15 min on an elliptical. Not bad, I'll go back later, though.

I ended up eating that muffin, but I split it up and ate the halfs at different times...to decrease guilt and purging urges. I also concocted a low-cal chocolate-ish protein dip for them to make it a full breakfast. Not too bad...I'd rather have my own homemade, thanks.

I'll probably post again later tonight on how the rest of the day went, and any progress that I made. I really like the way that I can post here about how I really feel about this struggle. Somewhere on the site is someone going through or having gotten through the same issues. I love being able to get/give feedback, tips, and support when needed. You guys are awesome! :)

Firstly, well done for making a plan to eat the muffin - good thinking! And secondly, well done for coming back and socialising with us all here. I hope your counselling session goes well. You are now on the road to recovery, blow away the dark clouds and do a happy dance :) and tonight enjoy your planned snack - you deserve it!

Great job Jackie! So proud of you for going. Make sure and tell her about this weightloss site... I'm curious to know if she recommends something different.

Well, it turns out that it wasn't an actual counseling session. It was consultation. I had to answer a bunch of question this guys asked(he had a 10 page packet to fill out lol) Every Thursday they meet up and discuss consultations to decide which counselor is best fitted for which patient. I was a bit relived, but hopefully since they have this system I'll actually get a counselor that can help. And I'm going to let myself have a little movie night after my roommate leaves. Popcorn and Diet Mountain Dew. Not sure why, but I need soda with popcorn...childhood attachment, I suppose.

That's fine Jackie - at least this will mean you should get a counsellor that will best suit your needs - another step in the right direction. I hope you are going to eat more than popcorn and soda tonight - your calories are down again, keep an eye on them, remember you are aiming for at least 1200 - see I have compromised from the 1500, but you have to meet your side and get it up to 1200 :) Have a good night.........
