Today was not a low cal day in the least. I got taken out for lunch at work with a bunch of other people for a late assistant appreciation day lunch. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole and some fries. Then there was dessert later in the day. It was all very good. Pretty controlled dinner tonight.

I went running tonight outside and my lower back was shooting pains so I had to stop. It has done this in the past but ususally if I crack it, it stops. I couldn't get it to stop this time. I'll be running and here and there a pain shoots out and feels like my back is going to go out. I am a little concerned about this. So, I went about 3/4 mile and then got on my bike and did about 4 miles in around 18 min. I think I will be meeting my workout buddy for a long bike ride tomorrow. I think we will be aiming for at least 12 miles is my guess.

I went swimming last night doing 1/2 mile (35 lengths) in around 23-25 min. I am pretty on track with my triathlon training again. It is helpful to have a plan like that to keep you focused.

Hope you all have a good weekend and get out there and sweat some!!
I forgot my stopwatch, so not sure exactly how long. BTW, I think a stopwatch is a great idea for all activities unless you are tracking it on a treadmill or something.

Great job with the exercise! I hope your back doesn't continue to bother you. That can really put a damper on things. At least you balanced the calories with your exercise. I haven't taken my stopwatch with me on a run for a long time. You've got me thinking I should, just so I can get a more accurate assessment of my speed since I am pretty sure I've improved some. I love my stopwatch because I got one with BIG numbers so I can easily read it (these old eyes aren't what they used to be!). Thanks for the tip!
