I have completely fallen off what I know I should be doing. Just too long stuck at the same spot with no progress I guess.
I HATE exercise and I know in my heart that is what I need to do to jump start everything again. I went into a sporting goods store yesterday and purchased a jump rope. I thought that was something that I could start with doing to build up my endurance and then I may be able to do something else. I came home and tried out the jump rope. It was originally too long and it caused so much pain in my shoulder (from the close to dislocation that I had back in February) that I didn't even think about when purchasing the rope. I shortened the rope and then tried again. The pain was better...but still had pain. Today I took it easy after just a couple minutes of it yesterday and took a nap instead. Tomorrow I am going to have to try it again. I am dreading that...and exercise should not be something you dread should it? The doctor I was seeing told me to try it for 10 minutes every third day and if the pain continues to discontinue the activity. I may try 5 minutes every other day to see if I can manage that first. I LOVED jumping rope as a child and did it all the time...that and rollerskating. If this jump roping doesn't work I may have to try rollerskating again. I would do that for hours round and round in my parent's basement as I listened to music.

No, we should not hate exercise, otherwise we will quit. Find something you like. Can you take a walk every day? Water aerobics? That takes strain off joints.
