As expected, I gained. That is ok. Mostly water, some bad eating. I will be back on track. Brought all my food today, no plans to eat out this week. Need to stay focused on eating the right foods and stay away from the chips...went chip overboard this weekend. I just craved salty stuff. Being TOM next week, that seems to always happen to me. I am better today so I believe by WW weigh in Friday I'll have worked off the gain plus some!!! Keeping my chin up and now just need to get my exercise going again. I have fallen off the schedule and it is effecting my scales, so must get focused again. May til the first of June is EXTREMELY busy for me, so must get the routine started now. June 8 begins a week long 4-H Statewide event, plus two days of board meetings, banquets, quick meals, etc. I must get back on track before that week. Plus, I have to stay focused too, $225 pot of money for BL in our office. We only have 6 more weeks to go.

I was in first as of last Wednesday, surpassed boss two weeks ago. However he didn't weigh in this past week due to being out of town. I have to get off the 2.6 gain and hopefully lose some even by Wednesday. I have packed my Flat Belly foods for the next 4 days to help with the bloat. I just was out of control this weekend eating wise. At cookies, not just one, at Relay Friday night. There were fruits and veggies, but no I had the chocolate chips, the oatmeal raisin, the sugar cookies. Didn't have the pizza at midnight madness, but I wanted to. Then Saturday at the cow sale had a BBQ sandwich, brisket, then Mexican for dinner, plus snack bags of chips. Ate one myself then would snatch out of the boys. I never even attempted to figure calories for Saturday, probably horrible. Ate decent yesterday, but nothing really substantial. Had mini popscorn and cheese stick for lunch. Brown rice and chick peas for dinner. We have to go grocery shopping today, was out of fruits and veggies, the stuff I should have been eating, so just ate what was there :(

YES!! I am sooooo behind on workouts. That week with everyone getting sick, I just haven't got back into the routine. BUT I MUST!!!!!

Too funny Amy...no, beating him will be ok. I actually inspired everyone to start losing with my transformation beginning January. Men just lose faster. We are close. I have lost 10.33% and he was at 9.43% without weighing in last week. I was 9.8% at that time. It has been great. We all needed to lose and the money and competition just made it more fun. We have 9 in the contest, the 4 staff, one student worker down the hall and the staff spouses, except mine. He doesn't have anything to lose. My sister-in-law is also in it, basically taking Brad's place. What I fine really funny is that one of the staff members is about 1 inch shorter than me, but I have always been the heavier one. She was noticing last week how I am now 7 pounds from being the same weight as her. That has kicked her into gear.

There was an article in the NY Times about how money is the best motivator for losing weight. Go for it!

Tomorrow's weigh in won't be pretty, but I will make it up next Wednesday. The last time when bloated I gained, but the next week lost 6 pounds, basically made up for the gain and then that weeks loss. The $$$ would be awesome, enough to buy new clothes before our big board meeting that next week. Or better yet, buy the pool for the summer. We are going to do both anyway, but using won money would be more fun!!
