You’ve done amazingly well! Keep going; you are worth it … if others can’t see that, and your progress, then, sad to say, that’s a separate issue. You do you. Please know that we are all cheering for you! 💕

I lost 60 pounds many years ago when I was still married and my husband was the only one who didn't support me or even notice. Much later after I had gained it all back he looked at a picture of me from when I had lost the weight and said "When were you ever that thin?" Long story short, I got divorced and am now on a new journey and determined to get rid of this weight for myself - not to try to please someone else. Please don't allow him to disrespect you. You're worth more than that.

That was very inconsiderate of him, but don't let that steer you from your goal. He might not even want you to lose weight, and might be sabotaging you. Don't let him win. Hopefully you are doing this for you, not him. Keep up the good work!

WOW 50 pounds ! I'm having trouble to lose 2 pounds 😉. Too bad your husband is being such a jerk. He's jealous and probablement afraid to lose you ! Keep it up girl, we're all proud of you. Screw him !

You are doing great, keep it up.
He may be your husband, but doesn't sound like he is a friend to you. A true friend would be supportive and not say hurtful things to tear you down. I am divorced and have since found my soulmate, it changes your world. You deserve a friend too 👍

People who care about you don't talk like that. I hope you find the strength to find someone who values you the way you deserve to be.

Children say the darndest things? ultimately a 50lbs loss is an amazing accomplishment, you clearly are on the right path. This will give you more energy, and you will ultimately feel better. I think people can get jealous of another person's success, perhaps they don't have the same drive and know they would struggle to achieve what you have done. I have struggled to hold at 40lbs with the new goal being 60lbs to lose (Currently at 30lbs) so job well done and a tip of the hat to you.

you need to tell him to stop. He probably thinks it's funny to say a fat joke, kind of a reverse joke, now that you are on a journey to healthy living. His way telling you can handle that kind of joke now.

Or it might be that he is fearful or uncomfortabe with you changing and belittles as a way to try to hang on to what he knows. He might need some reassurance
