Lanie Reed's Journal, 20 Mar 11

Had the family over for dinner last night. Stayed with the program. No carbs. Ate extra chicken instead of potatoes, apple pie and 2 different kinds of ice cream. Went over calorie allowance for the day but am great full my carbs were in line.

It was a much better experience than it used to be when I'd stuff my face with all those carbs and then eat them again in the middle of the night and hate my self in the morning.Today's another day. Another day to stay on target to the "T".

just looked again at your profile, and realized you don't have very much to lose - in the big scheme of things. Use this time to learn the basics of Induction, and once you feel you are keeping it 'on track' (roughly 2 weeks, maybe 3) then we really should talk about moving you into OWL (ongoing weight loss) - and thru the program, one food at a time, to re introduce carbs at regular, small increments... til you begin to level off. First things first... let's focus on getting your body to switch over to burning fat for fuel, instead of waiting on your next surge of insulin. Much Love.
