Pushed my boundaries a bit today and hiked in to do a little leaf peeping and watch the rapids on a river in the middle of nowhere. Before I got my hiking poles I never would have attempted the steep rocky trails because I always feel unstable due to really bad knees. I consider it a victory, even if I forgot my camera in the truck
