Just got home. 15 hour drives are not great for the snacker in me!!! But I did manage to avoid the usual bag full of candy and junk we pack and packed chex mix (bold blend is oh so yummy!!) and other things like that.
I did fairly well for the first half of the trip, then my sisn law fixed homemade yummy lasagna and I let my guard down to enjoy it!! And that led to me baking cupcakes the next day with homemade cream cheese icing! I didn't over indulge in anything, but I know I went over my budget a few times, plus TOM is rounding the home stretch, so we'll see what the scale says over the next couple of days.
I did get to see my sweetest little nephew though! He's only a week old and oh so snuggly!!
Arizona is beautiful considering it is the desert... I have to admit I am not at all a desert fan. If there's no water, it's not my cup of tea, but the amazing mountains more than made up for it. We went to a tiny town in the mountain that was home to some awesome copper mines. It is a cute little town with a lot of history. Loved it.
