Kate GB's Journal, 15 Mar 11

Did my 2nd run this week:
10K-W1/D2
Time: 00:18:00 Distance: 1.74 mi.
3 min jog at a 5.2mph/3 min run at 6.2mph - repeat x3.
It was kinda quick, at least I thought it was. Kinda hard to adjust from 6.2mph down to 5.2mph, couldn't slow down and by the time I did it was tym to change the speed again! :-o I'm sure I'll get used to it. Felt so good after!

Ah, its cool to log how far you went. I'll have to start doing that. Did my tempo run today and pushed it up to 7 mph at the fastest. I'm used to thinking that I'm a bad running and have to go slow that its cool to realize that I actually CAN run faster than I think I can. Glad to hear the 3 minute intervals go quickly. The first runs seem so short, but I know it won't last forever. Trying to push myself so I can improve my speed and actually do the 10k in under an hour!

Hey there partner ;) 1st run was kinda boring for me, 20mins tempo. Maybe cos I 4got my music? Or maybe cos it was too early.. Not sure. I like interval runs tho! We'll see how they go next weeks. I wanna run 10K under an hr myself! Good luck with ur interval run Natalie!
