Any ideas on how to curb the stress eating?

One of my favorite ways to avoid stress eating is to go for a walk (preferably outside, away from my kitchen). Practicing mindfulness is another great stress reliever. If you do stress eat, chew slowly and observe the texture and taste. Even describe it to yourself. Focus on the food intently so you are no longer thinking about whatever’s stressing you. I know the ideal goal is not to go to food when stressed but it does take time to develop proper stress relieving skills. Try not to be too hard on yourself. And definitely find a stress relieving method YOU can stick with. With practice and persistence you will overcome this. Good luck.
