Although I haven't lost any weight for a few days, my pants and clothing feel looser and a buddy mentioned I looked thinner, so I'll take that as a Win.
In the past all that mattered was the number on the dial, and I would be depressed if it didn't budge.
For me it's changing the way I think and my perspective.
Vacation starts tomorrow for 1 week. I have my whole strategy lined up to not throw all my hard work away!!
-Get out of the house for a walk before breakfast is served to the kids (Eggs, sausage, bagels etc). Grab a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit on the way home.
-Lots of Water
-Buy individual size snacks for the kids so a whole package is never laying opened or available
- Afternoon beach, have lots of fruit handy
- Fire up the grill each night but only cook what is immediately consumed no extras for the fridge.
- (the hardest) Dinner's Out stick to fish & Chicken, no alcohol
