Just finished Level II workout. I am trying to get back into the AM routine of doing this workout, especially with Easter coming up and kids having a long weekend off. I prefer the AM workout, just the past few weeks of late night taxes and then once out of the routine, trying to get back into it, it has been hard. Failed yesterday to get up since up at 2am with sick hubby and then about the time my head hit the pillow, toddler woke up crying. 4 am finally laid back down. Should have just gotten up I know but I don't think my body had near the energy for Jillian yesterday. Last night, for the first time in a long time, my husband and I went to bed at 9. I felt really rested for the first time in a long time. Was up at 4:45 to begin my morning workout.

Wow! I can't even blink that early! Good for you! I agree - if I don't get it done in the morning it's sooo hard to do it later - I try to fit it in at some point before mid-day depending on the schedule that day - it's so great that its only a half hour - I can't spare much more than that!

4:45 is a great time to get up. It is sooo good to actually go to bed early and get up early for me. I have never been a morning person, but when I get up before everyone I feel so much better, I think emotionally. Great job with your workout. Yesterday I also got up at 4am (for Porter) and should have stayed up too, but instead I layed back down and then slept in some. I understand AM workouts are so much better for me too.

I have to leave at 7 to get to work. I live about 40 miles out and have to drop Travis at daycare, which is less than 1 mile up the road from office. Luckily I am not a high maintance person, shower, blow dry hair (wear is straight mainly) little makeup and out the door. Husband gets oldest son ready for school and drops him off everyday. I usually pack lunch and snacks the night before. If I have to get more dolled up for a meeting or something, would have to get up at 4 to get workout in and be ready for work :) Luckily those type meetings aren't often. I have found that when I exercise in the morning I have more energy through the day. Unfortunately for us, 9 pm bedtimes are not often. With it staying light later, sometimes husband doesn't even get in til 7 for dinner. Then homework, bath the boys, them in bed. I just get to sit down and rest at 9 pm. It was refreshing though. Brad and I think we should try 9 pm bedtimes at least once a week.

Glad you managed a restful night! Congrats on those early morning workouts, too. That's one thing I haven't managed yet.
