So I started Phase II this week. I am trying to figure out how to modify it to fit my tastes. It seems like most of the carbs are supposed to be eaten in the morning. My problem is I don't really like the carby foods in the meal plan. I am not a big fan of waffles or pancakes unless they are literally soaked in syrup and butter. Ha ha, maybe I don't really like them at all!

I do like oatmeal, and that tasted good yesterday with blueberries. I'm not sure I've ever not put honey or brown sugar on my oatmeal, so that was a first! I really liked the way the blueberries melted into the oatmeal though. I haven't ever really eaten bagels for breakfast, so I won't do that. I am afraid to go overboard with cereal, so I won't even think of adding that in.

So today I had an omelet, and for the first time I finally got it right! I just needed the right pan. No more omelets turning into scrambles!

I wish I could do cardio today, but I don't think I will have time...

I have really been craving snacks today! Got to fight the urge to eat more nerds!

Try 1/2 cup whole roll oatmeal (not the instant stuff), mix in 4-6 egg whites, nuke for about 2-3 minutes. I then let it cool down, add about 1 tbsp of 100% pure maple syrup (not the processed stuff) and yum! I also have a great egg white omlette recipe here: http://www.goferboy.com/nutrition-shortcut-egg-white-omelet/ Yes, avoid the cereal and dairy. Are you eating 5 times a day? Do you plan for your mid afternoon meal/snack? If you don't, and you get hungry..well that's when we head to the nasty vending machine. Try to get in as much cardio in, even if you just have time for the warm up.

Well I plan on doing the back and biceps workout as well as ab ripper x, I just really crave cardio sometimes. Especially after doing plyo x yesterday! I have a hard time eating 5 times a day. I can get breakfast, snack, and lunch in, but then I am scared to eat another snack b/c I usually work out in the afternoon and I don't want to feel too weighed down while working out. So after I usually get my recovery drink and then dinner. I guess that is 5x/day... Thanks for the recipes link!
