Geez, sometimes you have to talk tough love to your body....

if you want your body to love you then start loving your body. Stop with all the processed food and eat real wholesome nutritional foods. Lower your sodium intake so you don't retain water and give your body and mind the nutrition they deserve.

Please don't stop posting! Even if you change your settings to private, or open just to buddies, it really helps to have support. I feel your pain too, When it comes to some foods, such as pizza, etc. Life is too short not to enjoy an occasional night out or cheat meal. We all have an achilles heel, pizza (especially Pizza Huts Meat Lovers Pizza) is one of mine. I will enjoy it when I get the chance, and try to be tight with the calories the rest of the week. I raised 3 kids on my own and my income was small. Comfort food was cheap and filling, though calorie laden. They loved pasta, so.... Great job on the salads!! Love that "Tough Love" talking!!

Got my behind kicked tonight at work-- I was the only one at the register, I had people out the door, and the drive thru was wrapped around-- felt very defeated, no matter how hard I try to provide great customer service-- seeing 10/15 min of people waiting.. well I feel like I did not do my job properly.. even though I busted my behind.. I survived.. no one was really upset- since they saw me alone.. THEN I came home.. and read the post above my second to the last post.. Crap, I feel defeated at work, and now- here.. CRAP I am doing the best that I can--- I EAT A TON OF SALADS!... I guess I can not even do this right.. I feel like giving up on posting, and just leave my highs and lows to myself.. sorry, just defeating night at work and it REALLY BOTHERS ME!... and my weight has not changed for a while, but I have lost 40+ lbs already...

You are doing great! 40+ is an achievement! You know you are going in the right direction and you are getting results! It is good to know others have high and lows, better recipes, or just a good person for a sounding board. What works for one person might not work for another. We all are on a journey, and we are all here because we have some weight issue. We have all had really crappy days (or weeks, or months lol) No one is perfect.

I have finally gotten to the point where I can eat salad without dressing. I mean... I'm not nude. I don't put anything on my salad is what I mean.

Why suffer? I make a mean raspberry vinaigrette that only has 10 calories per 2 oz. How? 1 TBS all fruit with apple cider vinegar, one packet sweetner,and salt and pepper. How about ranch for about 17 calories per 2oz?
