Happy June! Started a "21-Day Challenge" program that was offered by my gym today, and designed by my personal trainer. The schedule of this program lined up perfectly as I just completed the contract with my trainer last Thursday, so to start a new program today allows me to be fully committed to the plan.

Day 1 started with lots of treadmill...which I love. Treadmill work was interrupted by a little bit of circuit training. I'm going to have to commit a bit more time to the gym during this program. As I only have my lunch hour to workout, I might have to break the workout up into 2 workouts and just get up early to complete part of it before I get the kiddos up for school/day care. We'll see.

In coming off of the "Trust Fall Challenge" I won't be weighing myself as often as I used to. That challenge taught me gauge my progress in other ways, but I'll still want to check in on the scale to see what's-the-what. I won't plan on stepping on a scale again until the end of this 21-day challenge.

Had a very 'snacky' day at home yesterday. Not sure what was up with that, but the body apparently wanted to graze. I guess that's another nice thing about being at work is that I don't have to convenience of my kitchen nearby and I'm forced to eat what I packed.

No time for breakfast this a.m., so I did a quick protein shake on my way out of the door. Forgot to check that the lid was snapped before I shook the bottle...OJ and protein powder spray on the kitchen floor. Guess I'll be stepping on ants in the days to come.

Feeling stuck in a routine lately. It's causing me to feel unmotivated. Need to find that 'something' to give me that positive outlook back.

Blah. Blah. Blah. Back to the grind. But feeling better after a nice lunch hour workout :-)

It must be Monday. I dropped my greek yogurt on the kitchen floor and 1/4 of it splashed out everywhere. Less calories now than if it hadn't. There is an upside to everything.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has those moments of "duh". I've known my lid was open and for some reason still tried to shake my bottle and splattered stuff all over, but usually on me. :) Maybe your 21 day challenge will be the way to snap out of your routine. You have done so well, find that motivation and keep going!

What do you hope to accomplish once the 21 day challenge is complete? Make a goal and use that as motivation, you can do it Mgrill!

Hmmm...I guess my goal is to survive/complete all of the workouts as outlined over the 21 days. I'm trying to figure out a 'reward' once I do complete it.
