Found out my BF's company lost their contract and he will be losing his job in 90 days. I know we cant live on one income and have already been strugling to make ends meet.

My first impulse upon hearing the news was to head to a buffet and drown my worries in food. I'm proud of myself for resisting. Instead I tried to eat high fiber filling foods to make it seem like I was eating more than I was. I did go over my calorie balance but by less than 50cal...so dont think that was too bad.

For anyone else that deals with stress by shoveling food like I do...i'm hoping this might help you. I definately ate more than I should have today but trust me had it been a few weeks ago it would have easily been a few thousand calories worse.

I'm so happy that your health is important enough to keep it front of mind even in stressful situations. Stuff happens, but I know you'll make it through!

When times are rough, its so hard when you are an emotional eater. So good for you though for not going overboard. That took some stregnth. Hopefully things will look up and somthing will come along. Just keep your head up, have hope and stay positve.
